Finding the Value and Benefit of Using Discounted Service Providers
In today’s economic turbulent times the value of the dollar is limited and consumers are searching for more economically affordable solutions. For the most part price wins decisions more often than not. Just like people searching for solutions for their mortgage people rate shop and often take a lower rate before reading the fine print. Consumers go to the large discount chains for better pricing of merchandise feeling that they got a good deal.
However price shouldn’t always be the driving factor in all of your affairs, often times as the old saying goes “you get what you pay for”, holds true. In many cases myself, my friends or colleagues talk about the savings of brand x over brand y. When it all boils down the cheaper brand may cost you more in the long run. More trips to the exchange counter, more time and money spent in the car driving to and from the store; possibly even time on the phone with customer support that gets you nowhere.
It’s no secret that bargain shopping is in demand and retailers are looking to stir up sales in these times of economic uncertainty. What is it that is going to make you open up your wallet and extend or even over extend your budget this Holiday Season, or even later down the road while this economy struggles with getting turned around?
I know for my family it’s often times value vs. price. What I mean is price is a factor of course but what will I get for the value of my dollar. For instance…when you shop online value may come in the form of an added bonus on an information product or a bundle of bonuses. Retailers are making affordable shipping an added value, savings on combined telecommunication services or bundled service packs.
Value comes from many forms of offers, now when it comes to purchasing safeguards for your self and family what types of value do you get? Car insurance gives value to you if you’re a good driver by the way of discounted insurance premiums. Value comes from service professionals by way of education, extended learning opportunities, consultations for free. However have you ever been offered a value from your medical insurance providers? I haven’t, until recently ever heard of this.
There are companies committed to only providing value for there clients by the way of huge savings and gratifications. For example a well known company charges a premium of $800/ year and $35 per call for medical advice. Sounds expensive but really it’s not if you only call once in a while you’re saving money on insurance premiums. Now then what if instead of paying the yearly fee and charge per call you could receive the same company’s services for a reasonable monthly fee and have unlimited calls.
In this example say the fee was reduces to $34.95/month and you were provided with the same exceptional level of service. That’s a savings of $800 per year plus the $34.95 phone call fee, say you called once per month that savings would equate to another $419.20 that totals almost $1220.00 in savings now we’re talking about value. “But Wait, That’s not all” as the announcer calls to the audience… How about a list of preferred pharmacies to help you save on those medications?
“There’s Even More”… Again the Announcer shouts; We’ll even throw in another service that would help you protect your identity that would normally cost $10/month here’s another savings of $120.00 on top of the $1220. Still not convinced that these services will protect you from over extension of your budget?
What if we even provided you with a piece of proprietary software that will help you to reduce your interest bearing credit lines by 1/2 to 1/3 of the time saving you thousands of dollars in interest fees? Even better we’ll give you the exact date you will be debt free, and a second date that you will become a cash millionaire.
How do these services go with medical benefits? Easy; health and wellness incorporate all things related to the physical and mental aspects of the body. Stress and worry take a huge toll on your immediate health and wellness, financial wellness is equally important to your health. If you constantly have to worry about your bills, savings and investments the tolls of stress and worry take you over.
Sure there are alternatives and companies that focus on specializing in one area or niche of service. Yes they are useful in some cases but not everyone fits in to their mold. So for those of us looking for more common services to help us in our quest of saving money and learning to maximize the value of our dollar we need to be more receptive to new ideas.
